About Louise

I studied for my certification at the same kitchen table as my kids.

Fitness had always been a part of my life — long before it became my career. It was the one space that was just mine, the one thing that stayed constant through every season of my life, even before becoming a wife and a mom. I started running in grade school to clear my head and work through the stress of a difficult childhood, then moved into long-distance running and marathons, and eventually became a gym rat, so to speak.

It was how I carried the weight of that childhood. And later, how I moved through the hardest things life put in front of me. I didn't know it then, but it was the healthiest thing I ever did for myself.

But somewhere along the way, life got loud. I became a mom who was tired.

Tired of putting everyone else first. Tired of feeling disconnected from my own body. Tired of wondering why I felt so unlike the woman I used to be.
